- Explore strategies that support diversity and anti-bias perspectives
The environment should promote positive relationships. Children need to feel, like they belong and respect and cooperate with others. Curriculum should promote learning and development. As teachers we need to do assesments on the children in our class. We want to make sure we are meeting the needs of all the children. In my class I have a four year old that can write is name and can recognize numbers and letters, is doing simple math. Something the other kids in my class cant do yet. To meet his needs I have put out more writing activities and adding games. The environment should also promote nutrition and health by providing healthy meals and snacks and age appropriate toys and furniture. Invite families to participate in programs and activities. Encourage them to volunter.
