What does it mean to be a professional? Being a professional is being respectful, listening, communicating with staff and parents. Being a professional also includes; being caring, have patience, and be loving.
To be an affective teacher you have to love what you do, be passionate,be willing to take risks, be flex able,be creative, and have lots of energy. With out these things you will have a boring classroom. If you don''t love children than you are in the wrong profession.

Children home life may not have alot of structure and routines but at day care there is. When children have routines and structure they feel more in control and less stress.
